On Friday, March 23, at the Mid-America Trucking Show the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will host a “listening session” on the issue of electronic on-board recorders and driver harassment.
The EOBR session is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the South Wing Conference Room C101.
In addition, a number of seminars are planned.
At 10 a.m., Friday, there’s a repeat seminar on CSA.
FMCSA Administrator Anne S. Ferro will host a special seminar at 11 a.m., Friday, on how “Drivers Make a Difference.”
At 1 p.m., Friday, the agency will host a seminar on medical qualifications of drivers and how healthy drivers are critical to the trucking industry.
At 2 p.m. Friday, the agency will have a seminar on “Top Ten Things You Need to Know About a Roadside Inspection.”
While the listening session will be held in Room C101, all other seminars were scheduled to take place in South Wing Conference Center Room B-104. The seminars are free of charge and do not require advanced registration.
