Sixth year for Pork Chop Diaries, Land Line's media blog

By Land Line staff | 3/15/2012

From March 22-24, the world of trucking will come together in Louisville for the 41st anniversary of the Mid-America Trucking Show. OOIDA, Land Line and Land Line Now staff will be there early and leaving late – and we’ll be telling all on our online MATS blog, “The Pork Chop Diaries” on the Land Line Magazine website.

If you’ve never read a blog or just plain don’t know what one is, it’s very simple. “The Pork Chop Diaries” is like an online diary of what’s happening at the show. If you are a blog reader, this will be your favorite during the week of the truck show. If you can’t make it to the show, we’ll bring the news right to your computer screen.

OK, so you do make it to Louisville. You will still want to lurk behind the pork chop curtain with us. It’s updated several times throughout the day by names you'll recognize from the magazine and OOIDA’s satellite radio show Land Line Now.

The staff will be sharing news stories, photos and video on OOIDA’s online websites – and – and OOIDA’s daily satellite radio show, Land Line Now, on Sirius XM Road Dog Channel. Readers can also follow the events via subscriber e-mail and updates on Facebook and Twitter.

To read the blog, visit the Land Line homepage and look for the “blog” button on the menu bar. That is your passport to insight and information about the world’s largest truck show, written firsthand by the Land Line and OOIDA crew who will be on the ground in Louisville.
