'Fuel and go' at Ormond Beach Love's during Bike Week

The Ormond Beach, FL, Love’s will limit truck parking to 30 minutes starting Thursday, March 8, through Sunday, March 18, during the annual biker event known as Bike Week.

At the Love’s Travel Stop No. 316 at I-95/U.S. Highway 1 in Ormond Beach, truckers will have to fuel and go. The Ormond Beach travel stop is located next to a Harley-Davidson dealership that is a major participant in Bike Week, meaning bike traffic is especially heavy in the area.

Fuel islands will be open as usual throughout Bike Week, but truckers should make alternate arrangements for long-term parking.

The increased traffic volumes for truckers waiting to fuel – combined with the significant influx of cars, trucks and bikes – has in the past caused traffic jams to the point that State Police had to close the exit. Love’s doesn’t want to see that happen, so “fuel and go” is the strict policy during Bike Week and during Biketoberfest in October.
