In the Canadian province of New Brunswick, commercial enforcement officers are now equipped with radar to enforce speed laws for CMVs.

On Feb. 17, the Department of Public Safety’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit rolled out the first 17 devices obtained by the federal RCMP.

The department’s top official, Public Safety Minister Robert Trevors, stated in a press release that the devices are additional tools to help keep the roads safe for all travelers.
