Two truckers died in separate accidents in Florida on Monday, Feb. 8.

New sources report that a FedEx driver was killed on Interstate 4 in Tampa when his rig hit a wheel that had come off a GMC truck. The FedEx driver swerved and hit a concrete barrier and overpass pillars.

Earlier, on U.S. Highway 27 near South Bay, an ABF driver died when his tractor trailer ran into a semi that had jackknifed.

The jackknifed truck was hauling farm animals. The highway was closed for hours as responders tried to round up goats and pigs that had escaped after the crash.

The names of the two truckers who were killed have not been released.
