SPECIAL REPORT: OOIDA urges Indy truckers to throw the bums out

| 10/20/2006

Oct. 20, 2006 - OOIDA has issued a call to action to Indiana truckers, urging them to speak out with their votes in the November General Election.

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association told truckers residing in Indiana that their calls and letters against the leasing of the toll road to foreign investors clearly fell on deaf ears - and the Association wants Indiana politicians to know that was a big mistake.

OOIDA Executive Vice President Todd Spencer said "Lawmakers serve at the will of the people. If your calls and letters meant so little to them, it's time they find another line of work."
