OOIDA TRACER ALERT: Truck, reefer stolen in California

Police in California are looking for a stolen truck and reefer. 

Police say a thief or thieves stole a red 2002 Freightliner Century and a reefer in Rialto, CA.

According to OOIDA’s TRACER Web site, the truck and reefer were parked at 2646 W. Baseline Road in Rialto.

The Freightliner has the words “Broken English” in gold paint on the doors and has a vehicle identification number that reads 1FUJBBCG52LG25235. The truck’s California license plates are VP46965.

The black 2002 Wabash reefer has a right mud flap that has “Loves Travel Center” and three hearts. The reefer’s Florida plates are 4FL4416, and its VIN is 1JJV532F7YL673718.

TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched in the spring by OOIDA. The program is two-way communication system that both sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.

Members can sign up to receive text messages and e-mail alerts for truck thefts and missing persons.
