Alzheimer’s Disease has claimed the life of former Schneider National president and chief executive officer Donald Schneider. He died Jan. 13 at age 76.
Schneider was named president of the Wisconsin-based trucking company in 1976 and stayed at the helm for more than 25 years. He retired from the daily operational responsibilities at Schneider National in 2002.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, five children, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The company was founded by his father, Al Schneider.
