An Iowa trucking company is looking for a driver who has been missing for nine days.
The driver, 39-year-old James Luzader, is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He has red hair and green eyes.
The truck is a dark purple 2000 Kenworth W-900 with “Baja Trucking” on the doors. The truck has Iowa license plates, and hauls a 2011 Timpte hopper trailer with “unit 842” markings and Iowa license plates.
Brent Jones, owner of Baja Trucking, said Luzader was last seen while unloading Monday, Oct. 31, in Denver. Luzader briefly spoke to someone at the company the next morning, but didn’t give his location and hasn’t been heard from since.
One caller saw a message online about Luzader and told Jones he saw a truck that matched the description in downtown Phoenix.
Anyone with information is asked to call Jones at 319-269-2260. He said a cash reward is being offered.
“He’s only been here about two months,” Jones said. “He checked in every day and is just a real steady driver. We had absolutely zero issues with him. He was calm, did his job, and was always where he was supposed to be.”
