Tailgating, show trucks and high speed – all for a good cause

| Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Truckin’ for Kids isn’t just a clever name. It’s the purpose of the show. As race director, every year OOIDA Life Member Frank Pangburn puts together this event in Southern California to raise money for various children’s charities.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is a primary beneficiary. So far the shows have raised over half a million dollars for its causes. Truckin’ for Kids supports charities ranging from assistance for abused children to educational scholarships.

Join Frank at the Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA, Sept. 25 for the 31st Annual Truckin’ for Kids Truck Drags, Show and Shine. His event features show trucks, a Pride & Polish competition, drag racing, tailgate party and more. For more information, visit truckinforkids.org or call Frank at 208-290-5778.
