Truck owners have additional opportunities to learn more about compliance with diesel truck regulations required by the California Air Resources Board.
CARB course No. 512 will explain details about the state Periodic Smoke Inspection Program; the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection Program; the Commercial Vehicle and School Bus Idling Rule; Emission Control Labels; Verified Diesel Emission Control Strategies; the Truck and Bus Rule; the Transport Refrigeration United (Reefer) Rule; the Tractor/Trailer Greenhouse Gas Reduction (Smartway) Rule; and in-use off-road diesel regulations.
The course will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Lancaster, CA, Thursday, Sept. 8, in Riverside, CA, and Sept. 21 in Corona, CA. More information is available by clicking on course No. 512 here. You can register here.
Course No. 516 will focus on diesel exhaust after-treatment maintenance training, and includes a fee. That course will be held Sept. 9 at Santa Ana City College in Santa Ana, CA.
