Trucks are set to roll on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Alberta, Canada, for their third-ever Convoy for a Cure event.

This year’s convoy is being organized by Tara Sherman and Mylene Rusk.

Sherman told Land Line on Tuesday, Aug. 16, that the convoy will run from the Roadking Travel Center in Sherwood Park and will end at Blackjack’s Roadhouse and Casino in Nisku, Alberta.

This year’s donations will again go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Sherman said the cost to enter this year’s convoy will be $75, but will be $50 for those who register for the Cure event by Sept. 16.

The event will also have a male support convoy, which is new this year, Sherman said.
