Two new Pilots now open

Pilot opened two new locations in June: one in Haines City, FL, and one in Morgantown, WV. These sites represent the newest additions to the Pilot Flying J family of more than 550 travel centers and travel plazas in the United States and Canada.

The new, 12,462-square-foot center in Haines City is on U.S. Highway 27 and features eight fuel islands and seven diesel islands, along with a restaurant and a wide variety of convenience items. The new facility features high-speed fuel pumps that provide faster flow so customers can refuel quickly.

The Haines City center includes a Denny’s restaurant; restrooms; pay phones; fax and copy services; Western Union; a UPS drop box; an ATM; check-cashing services; lottery and Lotto tickets; an arcade area; general merchandise for professional drivers and highway travelers; an RV dump station; and bulk propane.

In addition to diesel fuel, professional drivers have access to such services as a CAT scale, laundry services, seven automated showers and 76 parking spaces for trucks. The Haines City location also features a driver kiosk, so truckers can get in and out of the store quickly and be on their way.

As with all other Pilot Flying J locations, the Haines City travel center honors the new Frequent Fueler Advantage card and continues to honor points accumulated on the Frequent Fueler, RV Real Value Card and Driver Payback cards. Pilot and Flying J merged last year, and both brands are still available on U.S. highways.

The new travel center in Morgantown, WV, is 7,662-square feet and located at 2309 Smithtown Rd., off Interstate 79 at Exit 146. The new location features three fuel islands and seven diesel islands, along with a wide variety of convenience items. This facility also features high-speed fuel pumps.

The Morgantown travel center includes Carvel Ice Cream; Cinnabon; restrooms; pay phones; fax and copy services; Western Union; an ATM; lottery and Lotto tickets; an arcade area; and general merchandise.

Like Haines City, the Morgantown location also features a driver kiosk and professional drivers have access to Pegasus, a CAT scale, laundry services, five automated showers and 46 parking spaces for trucks.

Both travel centers feature a full hot and cold deli offering fresh-made salads, double-bacon cheeseburgers and Pepperoni's handmade Italian pizza, as well as an expanded grill area with Oscar Mayer hot dogs.
