The OOIDA Foundation, an affiliate of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, continues to host a series of business education webinars which began in November 2010. The current series has five sessions left for owner-operators with their own authority.
As mentioned, the topic for the April 19 webinar is “Creating and Using a Business Plan.” Hear directly from experts at OOIDA on this important topic and have your questions answered “live” during the session or by email later on.

Each module of the series will last approximately one hour and cover a variety of business areas.
The Business Education Series is designed to benefit anyone involved in running a small business trucking operation, including:
- Current owner-operators;
- Drivers aspiring to become owner-operators;
- Small fleet owners;
- Business partners; and
- Spouses, partners or family members who participate in the trucking operation.
Topics covered in other sessions include equipment purchases, financing, CSA, PSP/FOIA/DataQ, authority process, insurance, operations costs, leasing regs and others.
