Truckers asked for help in finding missing CO man

Authorities in Colorado are asking for help from truck drivers to locate a man that police are officially calling a missing person.

George Aldrich, 28, of Snowmass Village, was last seen between 3 and 5 a.m. on Nov. 28 on Colorado State Highway 82 between Aspen and Snowmass, where he may have been hitchhiking.

Aldrich is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown hair and a beard.

Aspen Police said in a statement that Aldrich didn’t report to work for his job as a lift operator with the Aspen Skiing Co. on Nov. 29. Last week, police used a helicopter, and bloodhound and foot teams to search for him.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Aspen police at 970-315-2103. There is a $25,000 reward for any information on his whereabouts.
