All eyes were focused on Louisville last week for the 39th edition of the largest heavy-duty trucking industry event in the world. The Mid-America Trucking Show, known as MATS, reports an impressive 965 exhibiting companies represented 45 states and 12 foreign countries, encompassing more than 1 million square feet of exhibits and events.
The company that produces MATS reported today that 70,647 trucking professionals from all 50 states and 59 foreign countries made the trip to Louisville last week.
“We could not have asked for a more positive atmosphere for the trucking industry or scripted a better turnaround for our show,” said Toby Young, President of Exhibit Management Associates Inc.
Young said that 2011 show dates would be March 31-April 2, 2011, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
