Three representatives of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association will speak at a port drivers meeting Saturday in Norfolk, VA.

The Owner Operators Coalition of Virginia is scheduled to hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. The meeting’s location is:

United Iron Workers Hall
5307 Virginia Beach Blvd.
Norfolk, VA

Joe Rajkovacz, OOIDA director of regulatory affairs, said that he as well as OOIDA’s Gary Mummaw and Clydith Carnahan will make presentations at the meeting.

“The meeting is an opportunity for drivers who work out of the ports of Hampton Roads to learn what is being done on their behalf in the port community," Rajkovacz said.

The Port Drivers Federation 18, which includes port drivers from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, also will attend Saturday’s meeting.
