The Mid-America Trucking Show 2010 in Louisville, KY – or MATS 2010 – will again feature its truck beauty contest as one of the show’s big headliners. The 20th annual Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Championship will showcase some of the nation’s most awe-inspiring big rigs.
This will be the tenth consecutive year Bud Farquhar has executed this show. The event always draws this country’s finest show trucks and attracts the largest crowds in the show truck industry. Farquhar told Land Line that “as always, this show will be administered with a highly professional hardworking staff dedicated to serving the three basic elements of the event: the show truck entrants, the sponsoring companies, and the thousands of public attendees.”
MATS begins Thursday, March 25, and runs through Saturday, March 27, at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Show trucks can check in March 23-24. Look for Lot J on the west side of the complex. Preregistration guarantees show truck entrants their spot in the show. Space is limited.
The contest includes up to 25 competitive classes. The Best of Show working combo and bobtail each will win $500. The Big Rig Build-Off competition is back. And, as always, an overall People’s Choice will be awarded.
OOIDA is among the sponsors of the 2010 PKY Championship.
