NAST kicks off 2009 season with record attendance

Record crowds and 59 cool trucks made the National Association of Show Trucks’ kickoff show a memorable event. The Sixth Annual Great Lakes Truck Show took place at the end of May at Cabela’s in Dundee, MI.

The show featured entertainment by Joey Holiday and Aly’an, plus a NAST parade of lights.

Best-of-Show Non-Working was awarded to Roddy’s Trucks driven by Warren Nyland from Martin, MI, with a 1996 Kenworth W9L.

Best-of-Show Working Bobtail was awarded to Andy Mulkey and TAP Transport with a 2006 Black Western Star model 4964 out of Battle Creek, MI.

Best-of-Show Working Combination was awarded to Jeremy Hassevoort with Rabbit River Transport from Holland, MI, with a 1986 white and gold 359 Peterbilt and Utility reefer trailer.

The next NAST show will be The Richard Crane Memorial Truck show in St. Ignace, MI, Sept. 18-20.
