The Ice Road Truckers cometh … back to the History channel

| Thursday, May 28, 2009

Temperatures reach minus 70 degrees. Trucks often slide down 100-foot cliffs. Only one fuel stop. No cell phone service. As many as four “push” trucks are required to get up a 12 percent grade.

That’s all in an average day’s work for the Ice Road Truckers

The critically acclaimed show returns to the History Channel on Sunday, May 31, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

Now in its third season, Ice Road Truckers is the History Channel’s top-rated original series.

The newest installment will feature some of the tough truckers from seasons past, as well as a couple of new faces, including OOIDA member Tim Freeman from Blackduck, MN.

Watch these talented truckers take on roads few would dare to drive, hauling supplies to oil camps on Alaska’s North Slope. Click here for air dates, cast information, episode guides and more.
