Two new Flying J locations will give truckers more fuel stops and add a total of 166 more parking spaces to its North American network.

On March 3, Flying J opened a new fuel stop off Highway 2 and 11 at 6606 67th St. in Red Deer, Alberta. This new location sits where a former Flying J cardlock once stood. Flying J cardlocks are convenient unmanned locations with commercial diesel lanes and limited amenities. The facility was replaced with a fuel stop providing guests with five commercial diesel lanes, 12 gasoline lanes, one RV lane, 26 parking spaces, four private showers, drivers’ lounge, an ATM, a Scan & Go kiosk, overnight truck parking, truck propane and a hot/cold deli.

The Sonterra Travel Center in Jarrell, TX, will be the newest dealership to join the Flying J network on Tuesday, March 10. Jarrell is 25 miles from the Texas state capital of Austin off Interstate 35 and 1710 North.

This location will offer guests an assortment of eating options with Denny’s, Burger King and a local quick-serve eatery. Drivers will have access to eight commercial diesel lanes, three RV lanes, 20 gasoline lanes, eight private showers, 140 truck parking spaces, laundry facilities, an ATM, drivers’ lounge, money wire service, scales, an RV dump and many other services.
