The Mid-America Trucking Show is less than three weeks away and falls slightly earlier in March than this past year. The show will be held Thursday through Saturday, March 19-21, at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY.
Tickets are free if you handle things right. Online preregistration at truckingshow.com continues until 9 a.m., Eastern Time, March 7. Remember to print out your registration page. If you don’t register in enough time to get your badge in the mail, take your confirmation to the show for the complimentary admission.
If you don’t preregister, it will cost you $5 to get into the show, and you will have to wait in line for your badge to be printed.
VIP hours on Thursday are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The floor will be open to the general public from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Friday the doors will open to the general public at 10 a.m. The show floor closes at 6 p.m. Saturday. Get there early because doors are open at 9 a.m., and the show ends at 4 p.m.
Where is OOIDA going to be this year? The better question may be where isn’t OOIDA going to be this year. The Association will have three booths at the 2009 show to make sure we see as many members of the OOIDA “family” as possible.
We will be in Booth 12108 in the North Wing, Booth 65004 in the West Wing, and Booth 91425 – that’s the Spirit truck – outside.
