On Friday March 20th at 7:30 PM, Mobil Delvac will present Aaron Tippin, Halfway To Hazard, and Krista Marie in concert at Freedom Hall as part of the 2009 Mid-America Trucking Show.
Aaron Tippin will headline the Mobil Delvac concert with hits from his new album, “In Overdrive.” You can read more about Tippin’s album – in the March/April issue of Land Line Magazine – in the exclusive interview with Tippin by Terry Scruton for Land Line Now, OOIDA’s XM satellite radio show.
Released February 2009, the album is a tribute to truck drivers throughout the United States. Featuring such classics as “East Bound And Down” and “Drivin’ My Life Away,” the album salutes the highway heroes who keep America rolling. Tippin will showcase his unique blend of honest lyrics and direct, impassioned vocals as he crusades for the working men and women in trucking.
Halfway To Hazard, the country/rock duo composed of Chad Warrix and David Tolliver, is slated to open along with Krista Marie. The trio have collaborated in the past and promise to bring a high-energy performance to all MATS Attendees.
The concert will be held on-site in Freedom Hall of the Kentucky Exposition Center, immediately following the Friday edition of the Mid-America Trucking Show.
Complimentary concert tickets courtesy of Mobil Delvac will be available to show attendees (limit of two tickets per person). Tickets, while supplies last, will be distributed by Mobil Delvac starting at 10 a.m. on both Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20.
