Police in Barstow, CA, are looking for leads and a motive in the death of a trucker from Chula Vista, whose body was found in the cab of his truck Friday, Jan. 16.

The Press-Enterprise of Riverside, CA, quoted Barstow police Sgt. Andy Espinoza as saying that the driver’s side window was broken and the long-haul driver – 45-year-old Gregory Boriack – had been shot in the head.

He was parked near a Bun Boy restaurant, and customers called police when they saw blood and broken glass on the pavement.

Boriack was hauling a load of metal for R&R Trucking of Duenweg, MO, from Kent, WA, to Colton, CA.
