Drivers wanting to watch discussion of California’s new emission standards for existing diesel trucks can fire up their computers and watch a Webcast Thursday, July 31.
The California Air Resources Board is proposing that an estimated 1.5 million trucks be required to meet 2007 emission standards by the year 2012, though several other compliance possibilities have recently been proposed.
CARB is scheduled to consider the new regulation at its October meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific time, or noon to 7 p.m. Central time.
