Truckers asked for input on truck parking in Washington State

If you run through Washington State, you might want to participate in an online survey that is seeking input on ways to develop and improve truck parking in the state.

The Washington State Department of Transportation announced recently it will be conducting an online survey for both truckers and trucking companies. It will include questions about their current use of truck parking in Washington state, especially along interstates, including the I-5, I-90, I-82 and state Route 167 corridors.

The deadline to complete the online survey, which should take between 10 to 15 minutes, is March 23. The information gathered by the survey is supposed to help the state’s DOT better understand truckers’ current truck parking practices along these corridors and to outline where truck parking improvements are needed.

The survey’s findings will be shared with the Washington Legislature.
