Hearing set for Corzine transportation plan challenge

| Friday, October 05, 2007

In New Jersey, a judge has set Nov. 16 as the date for a hearing on a lawsuit filed by Republican state Assembly members against Gov. Jon Corzine.

According to The Associated Press, the Republicans want the court to force Corzine to reveal his state transportation plan.

Corzine has stated that his proposal will not call for privatizing toll roads.

But many Republicans think it will, and had hoped to force Corzine to reveal his plan before the Nov. 6 legislative elections.
