Police in northern Mexico say they found the buried bodies of three people who were killed by a gang that hijacks tractor-trailers and sometimes kills the drivers.

According to The Associated Press, female members of the gang pose as prostitutes to lure truckers.

Police have arrested seven gang members and recovered 21 tractors and 18 trailers.

They say gang members have confessed to killing nine people, including other gang members who were cooperating with police and a lawyer who unsuccessfully represented the gang’s leader in court.

Mexican police told The AP the gang is not tied to drug trafficking.
