Bowling ball smashes truck’s windshield

In Minnesota, a trucker was released from the hospital on Monday, Aug. 27, after he was injured when someone dropped a bowling ball off an overpass on Interstate 90, smashing through the center of his windshield.

According to KTTC-TV, the trucker – Ted Maki – was driving while his wife slept. The bowling ball crashed through the windshield, hit him in the face and knocked him unconscious.

The truck reportedly went off the road and traveled 150 feet into a cornfield before coming to a stop.

The incident happened near Fairmont in the extreme south-central part of the state.
