Slain trucker’s identity confirmed

Police in Jersey City, NJ, say a trucker who was bound with duct tape and stabbed to death in his sleeper berth is not Arnaldo Lopez after all.

Police told The Associated Press the victim had two driver’s licenses from two different states in that name. However, his real name is Rafael Espinoza – and he had a license in his real name, too.

According to The AP, it hasn’t been determined yet whether the 50-year-old trucker from Costa Rica was in the U.S. legally or not.

Investigators think Espinoza was killed in the course of a robbery.
