For the second time in two days, a tractor-trailer has been hijacked in Ontario, Canada.

Police say the latest case involves a trucker whose rig was hijacked in Toronto early Thursday, July 26.

The trucker – who was hauling a load of metal – was found bound and gagged in a car in a parking lot about 35 miles away.

He was described as “shaken up and distraught,” but otherwise fine, according to media reports.

On Wednesday, July 25, near Toronto, a trucker was shot in the ankle by hijackers who drove off with his truck and $200,000 worth of cigarettes.
