OOIDA launches new ‘hot fuel’ Web site

| Friday, July 13, 2007

In an effort to educate the general public about the issue of “hot fuel,” the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association has taken its fight to the Internet.

The Association has launched a new Web site, turndownhotfuel.com, which contains everything consumers need to know about the issue of hot fuel.

In addition to the basic facts – such as what hot fuel is and what it costs consumers – the Web site contains links to important upcoming events on the topic, as well as myths and facts about hot fuel and a glossary of terms.

Users can also find links to other resources, as well as a link to OOIDA’s own Call to Action page. There, users can forward information about hot fuel to as many of their friends and family as they want, and encourage them to join the protest.
