OOIDA member hits the jackpot

An OOIDA member and his wife hit the big jackpot Wednesday, June 27, when they won a Powerball drawing worth nearly $106 million.

Don and Joyce Harvey of Muldrow, OK, opted for the lump-sum, though, and after taxes got a check for about $33 million.

Despite the sudden windfall, the 64-year-old Harvey says he’ll keep on trucking – but may buy a newer rig.

“I’ve got to have something to do,” Harvey told The Associated Press. “I can’t go fishing all the time and I don’t play golf.”
