Fire destroys MD trucking company

| Monday, June 04, 2007

A six-alarm fire Sunday night destroyed the offices and warehouse of a trucking company that’s operated in the Baltimore, MD, area for more than 100 years.

The building that housed Wollenweber’s Trucking and Warehousing was also home to a charity for sick children and their families, which used space donated by the trucking firm.

No one was injured, according to media reports.

Most of Wollenweber’s business comes from hauling and storing paper products.
