If you’re reading this story on the Land Line Web site, you may have noticed some changes, all of which should make it easier to access the site’s information and share it with others.
One of the most noticeable changes is the addition of a toolbar at the top of each article that contains “Print” and “E-mail” buttons. These buttons make it simple to print out a well-formatted version of an article as a reference, or to e-mail the article’s link to your friends, family, elected representatives and others.
Additional buttons – including one that will allow you to adjust the text size of an article for easier reading – will be added to this toolbar in the near future.
Some of the fonts on the page, such as the ones used in headlines, have also changed. The fonts are larger, bolder, and easier to read both onscreen and when an article is printed out.
One of the biggest changes – the “Bookmark” button – is at the bottom of the page. When you click the button, you’ll have access to the site’s social bookmarking service, which allows Land Line readers to keep track of their favorite stories and share them with people all over the world.
