Two young truckers from El Paso, TX, are in big trouble with the law after state troopers found more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana in their trailer.
According to the Weatherford Democrat, the two men were pulled over for an inspection on Interstate 20 west of Fort Worth Thursday, March 29, and the troopers thought they both acted “very nervous.”
Even so, police told the Democrat the pair consented to a search, and troopers found four large cardboard boxes that weren’t on the manifest packed with bundles of pot.
The men – 28-year-old Ceasar Grijalva and 26-year-old Timothy Pearson – were arrested and held on $50,000 bonds.
The truck was registered to Pro Lines Express Corp.
