Tractor-trailers targeted in three shootings

Three tractor-trailers were targeted in recent drive-by shootings in St. Bernard Parrish, near New Orleans.

Police told the New Orleans Times-Picayune the shootings occurred Thursday and Friday of last week, and the suspect in all three shootings is the same.

The first two shootings occurred on St. Bernard Highway between 5 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. The third shooting happened on Florissant Highway on March 16 at 2 p.m.

The Times-Picayune reported that one driver suffered a minor injury in the shootings, as shotgun pellets allegedly grazed his neck. Police have not been able to recover any of those shells.

Police are on the lookout for a small black or charcoal-colored pickup truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the St. Bernard Parish Sherriff's Office at (504) 271-2501, or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
