Big Orange is heading to China.

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, Schneider National has been approved to operate as a domestic carrier and logistics provider in the People’s Republic of China.

The company says that will make it the only North American truckload carrier so far to establish business in China.

The company, based in Green Bay, WI, presently does business in 28 countries in North America, Asia and Europe.

Schneider National is listed by Transport Topics as the eighth largest for-hire carrier in the U.S., with nearly 11,000 company trucks and leases with 3,500 owner-operators.
