In Chicago, a 73-year-old woman faces up to six months in jail for her role in the city’s Hired Truck scandal.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Joan Policky lied to a grand jury when she said that she was the sole owner of a trucking company that was doing business with the city.

Actually, her husband and two city employees operated the company – which received more than $118,000 in city contracts over a two-year period in return for bribes paid to a city official.
