Federal investigators say the Federal Emergency Management
Agency continues to squander millions of dollars on post-Hurricane Katrina
According to The Associated Press, the General
Accountability Office charges that at least $17 million was given to people for
rent payment, when those people were already living for free in trailers or
apartments provided by the government.
