It’s that time of year again, when state DOTs start sending out the
warning messages about deer.
The Missouri DOT says bucks will be on the move from now until December
as they search for does.
A Missouri Highway Patrol official told “Land Line Now” on XM Satellite
Radio that if a deer is suddenly in front of your vehicle, don’t take unsafe
evasive actions. Instead, he said, it’s probably safer to hit the deer than to hit
a tree or another vehicle.
