A lawmaker in Maine has set up a meeting for truckers on Saturday, where they can discuss their concerns with state officials.

State Sen. John Martin, D-Aroostook County, said he hopes to hear concerns ranging from strict regulations to fuel costs.

Martin said one trucker told him that he was fined $100 because the red flag he’d tied on the end of his flatbed load was dirty.

That meeting is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the municipal building in Fort Kent, ME.
