EEOC cites C.R. England for allegedly sharing medical info

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed suit against Salt Lake City-based carrier C.R. England.

According to court documents, EEOC charges that the company illegally shared confidential medical information about a former driver and trainer with other workers and with people he was training.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the EEOC is seeking payment to the former employee to compensate for “emotional pain, loss of enjoyment of life and humiliation.”

The driver is now with another company. His medical condition was not specified in the lawsuit.
