Big Dig lanes to reopen Friday

| Friday, September 22, 2006

A stretch of highway in Boston’s Big Dig that was shut down after a ceiling collapse killed a motorist was expected to reopen Friday, Sept. 22.

According to The Boston Herald, all eastbound lanes of the Massachusetts Turnpike between the Prudential Tunnel and the Interstate 93 interchange would be opened to traffic.

The right lane on that stretch of highway has been closed since the accident in early July.
