Trucker injured on Virginia's I-395 in possible shooting

A dump truck driver in Virginia suffered a deep cut on his right arm from flying glass when a bullet – or something like a bullet – shattered his passenger window.

It happened early Tuesday morning on Interstate-395 in Alexandria while 60-year-old Carlos Guzman was driving in the far right lane of the four-lane highway.

Police say the hole in the window appears to be a bullet hole – but that no bullet fragments were found in the cab and no shell casings were found in the woods along the highway.

State Trooper Sgt. Terry Licklider told “Land Line Now” on XM Satellite Radio that they haven’t had any sniper incidents in the area.

Guzman, a resident of Alexandria, was treated at a hospital and released.
