Truckers report being fired upon near Charlotte, NC

Two trucks that were traveling on Interstate 77 in downtown Charlotte, NC, early Monday were hit by shots fired by someone in passing cars.

According to the Charlotte Observer, neither trucker was hurt, but the driver’s side window was shattered on one of the rigs.

Police think a pellet or BB gun was used, and are trying to figure out if the two attacks were related.

One trucker said shots were fired from a white Toyota with four people inside. The other driver said he was fired on from a small brown car with three occupants.
