Michigan couple seeks stolen truck

A Michigan couple is asking for the trucking community’s help to find a stolen truck that’s been in their family for several generations.

Rhonda Dryfhout of Holland, MI, said she and her husband, Steve, are looking for a 1974 Kenworth W900A that was stolen Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Dryfhout said the old Kenworth belonged to her husband’s father, who put more than a million miles on it. Her husband even polished it when he was a child. But the truck is not just a sentimental keepsake – it’s a working rig.

The Kenworth – which Dryfhout said is in mint condition – is sky blue in color, with broad white bands running from the doors to the hood. The couple’s company name, Quality Resources, is printed on the doors.

Anyone with information about the truck should call the Holland, MI, police department at (616) 355-1100.
