London, England, is gearing up to try speed limiters on city vehicles in a safety effort.

Transport for London will experiment with 10 vehicles next year during a trial run, and a push is underway to limit the speed of city buses, according to news.com.

The technology will work through a vehicle’s computer system and GPS to limit vehicles to the posted speed limits on specific streets and regions.

Transport for London will have to load the maps into the navigation system before the trial run gets underway.
