The Nebraska-based travel center chain Bosselman Co. announced May 1 it has entered into a license agreement with Knoxville, TN-based Pilot Travel Centers LLC to use the Pilot Travel Centers brand at two of its Bosselman Travel Centers.

The two locations that will carry the Pilot name are located at Interstate 80 and exit 300 in Wood River, NE, and Interstate 80 and exit 142 in Altoona, IA.

This move brings all six Bosselman Travel Centers into the Pilot network, which now includes 260 travel centers in 38 states as well as 12 licensed locations, giving Pilot Travel Centers representation in 40 states.

According to a press release, the two new locations will still be owned, operated, managed and branded Bosselman but also will carry the Pilot marketing brand, which allows Pilot customers to use the benefits of the Pilot network.

The other Bosselman Travel Centers, which began carrying the Pilot marks in June 2004, are:

  • Interstate 80 and exit 312, Grand Island, NE;
  • Interstate 80 and exit 257, Elm Creek, NE;
  • Interstate 80 and exit 107, Big Springs, NE; and
  • Interstate 70 and exit 252, Salina, KS.
