Ronald Wolf, the former owner of RBL Enterprises Inc., Port Treverton, PA, was sentenced to three years’ probation and fined $2,500 in March for his role in the falsification of logbooks kept by his company’s drivers.

Kenneth Heneisen, a driver and dispatcher for the company, was also sentenced to two years’ probation.

According to the Department of Transportation’s Office of the Inspector General, both men admitted to aiding and abetting the falsification of logbooks on a daily basis between 2001 and 2004.

Wolf also ordered drivers to destroy evidence that contradicted the falsified logbooks. Wolf and Heneisen were indicted in September 2005 following an investigation. Eight former drivers for the now-defunct company have also been sentenced on related charges.
